That sounds about as good an explanation as any! The best (serious) explanation I can come up with is they couldn't think of anything catchy to pair with "Black" so they used Berlina as an homage to Alfa Romeo. Some people are very fond of Alfa Berlinas, and it's not hard to imagine one of them in the Honda marketing department. Or, they chose Berlina knowing it has some semi-significant automotive meaning but not fully understanding what it is (how does it go? "never attribute to malice what can be sufficiently explained by stupidity"? )

I just think the results are funny when I see people here post "Pics of my '03 Berlina!" or something similar.
