I thought these numbers already came out? There were gains in the middle with losses up top. In typical 1-3hp S2000 fashion.

I've dynoed this already!....sorry for not posting anything about it.
But I do have some other parts so it may not be fully useful, but so the numbers I got: 231.9 HP and 149.5 TQ

HKS Intake, Berks TP, Megan Headers, Stock exhaust
Tuned by Churchs, so it was a dynopack.

Hey, these are great numbers for a mildly modified NA car. Congrats.

Guys, remember, all of these improved breathing mods (intake, exhaust, header) are really going to have seriously limited gains. The real reason S2KrNBRuIn gained so much HP is because he used a VAFC II to tune.
The lesson is to tune to your mods. Simply adding intake, exhaust, or headers to a factory ecu is going to yield next to nothing because they aren't the primary restrictors of power. We are tuning a car that comes from the factory with 120hp/L naturally aspirated. Do you really think there's much more power to be had without some sort of aftermarket ecu?

S2KrNBRuIn, you didn't post your baseline numbers but it sounds like you gained quite a bit. Congrats!

J

Courage: He's using Church's dyno, #'s will always be elevated with Church's Dynapak.

I'm not saying that he didn't gain power, but the numbers themselves mean nothing. There's no comparison, no gain show, just numbers of what his car makes now on a dyno know to show high numbers.

Ah...I wasn't aware that Church's dyno overstates HP. I'm surprised, he's revered in the FI community.

There was someone that dynoed the Megan - he lost 2 rwhp but it was 20 degrees hotter than his baseline and ht was losing .71 pounds of boost as his supercharger belt was slipping. If conditions were the same, he'd have made 7-9 or so I'm guessing. The Megan should be good for 2-3 on a completely stock (intake is considered stock) car. With tuning, 70mm single exhaust, the header should be responsible for 5-7 or so, with the car going up around 20 hp peak.
