Devotion aside, I have a couple (make it a triple) of comments:

I once installed a thermometer inside the airbox and measure increased temperature when stopped. Once on the move it reverted back to ambient temperature plus a few degrees.

The airbox is not there just to avoid hot air getting into the intake. Noise and fluid dynamics were taken into consideration.

Finally, don't know how much legitimacy this imparts on Clovis idea, but Porsche has a motor sound option for the 993 which is no more than an airbox lid with a few holes drilled in. An idea for Mingster or some of the other up and coming Honda tuners?

Luis, you are starting to sound devoted to this drilled air box, suggesting that it is an idea for Mingster or other up and coming Honda tuners. Watchout!

I do strongly agree, however.
