Tonight, I was on the way back home on road 146 in RI. And after I passed a red NSX, I gave him a thumb up!! Then, he suddenly lowered the gear and accerated to show me what is a real Honda power? hehe!! then I did the same thing... followed him!! Then S2000 impressed me a lot, cuz he could not get rid of me from 70mph to 125 mph~~ not even a bit!! I almost thought I could go over him!! well, the reason why I did not is cuz the next exit is my home!! I mean, wow!! Now, I love my S2000 even more than before!!

 

It depends on which NSX you run against. There's a big difference between the 250hp auto NSX and the 270hp 6-spd version ('97 and later).

 

actually, the 6speeds are 290hp

the 5 speeds are 270hp

the autos are 250...

I *think* that the automatic version is and always was the 3 liter, while the manual model got the bump to 3.2 and 6 speeds...

either way, I'd imagine that a 250hp NSX auto is slower than the 270hp 5 speed, just because of the parasitic loss of the auto trans...

oh, the auto trans DOES get power steering though

I think the 270hp 5 speed runs like a 13.7 @ 102...
