Default metal rollbars anyone?

I went to a body shop today and asked them about painting my roll bars with a brushed aluminum type finish. They showed me some info from this company

http://www.alsacorp.com/products/gho...ghost_show.htm

and it is exactly what I am looking for. Here is the plan. Either buy both roll bar assemblies (156 apiece) or remove yours. Sand the texture off of the plastic with 150 grit sandpaper, primer it with catalyzed primer, sand again to 400, primer again and finally sand up to 1000 grit. Have your body shop of choice paint it with the paint from alsocorp, cover with clearcoat and reinstall it. Instant aluminum roll hoops. Especially on black on black cars, it should look great.

Here is the problem, the smallest amount of ghost clear that Alsacorp will sell is a quart, which is 210 bucks. To paint the roll bars, it would probably take like 3 or 4 ounces. What I am looking for is anyone interested in sharing the cost of the quart with me. The quart would paint a ton of cars, if I found 2 other people interested, I would go ahead and buy it, use the small amount that I need and then ship it to you. Or, if you live near Pasadena, we could work something out.

Interested?
