Default MG Racing Exhaust...

Hi guys,

As some of you know, I picked up an '03 s2k last weekend. It came with an MG Racing exhaust, and the dealer didn't even realize that it wasn't stock! Does anyone know anything about this particular exhaust? I can't tell what model it is or anything, the only thing I can see is the "MG Racing" name etched onto the pipes. I tried searching the site but couldn't really find any info. If anyone could provide any info/experience they've had with this exhaust, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

It was a limited production run of exhausts. They look and sound very nice, I say keep it.

They are very rare. Only one GB was ever done on these and they sold for $899+shipping.

IIRC they are 4" round tailpipes on oval cans - stainless steel throughout.

I just recently sold one so I should know

Interesting... yeah when I searched the site I saw the thread for the GB, but that was about it. Yeah, I like the sound a lot--nice deep tone that isn't really loud or annoying. Sounds awesome when VTEC kicks in.. i think I'll keep it

gotvtecboost, where in the south bay are you located? Opeth is one of my favorite bands, were you at the Wiltern show a couple weeks ago?

I have one on my car and I like it too. Tim imported these from Italy as I recall -- definitely a sweet exhaust and a keeper. I get compliments all the time.

BTW, if you ever experience a CEL indicating an 02 problem in the catalytic converter (presumably because of the high flow exhaust system), a quick and easy fix is to use a mechanical 02 simulator.

I'm in the south san jose area. Opeth is truly an amazing band, unfortunately i couldn't go to their recent concert. I'm assuming you went? Very jealous. Please check out Meshuggah, Gojira, and Disillusion. Those and Opeth are my top favorite bands, hands down. Good to hear another S member is down with metal.
