Miata 4.44 Final Drives

Default Miata 4.44 Final Drives

Can somone explain to me some details in replacing my final drive from a stock AP1 to this 4.44? Ive read vaguely(through searching) that the miata final drive works. anyone know the part number to it or which year of miata is the part from? Thank You!

how reliable are the mazda gears? would they be same quality as honda ones? i remeber seeing a pic of one shattered?

From what I understand, we have Mazda Miata diffs in, so these Mazda gears would be "stock". Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

we have mazda GEARS in.

I thought the diff itself was made by quaife.
