r u gona turn the miata into a F20 swap
Yep, it will use an F20C + S2000 Tranny, custom drive shaft, and a Miata Torsen LSD rear end. Haven't decided on 4.10 or 4.30 gears yet. It will be run on an S2000 stock wiring harness and ECU at first for simplicity.
I'm forecasting 10-12k. It can be done cheaper if you do all of the fabrication yourself but I don't have that kind of free time so most likely I will be having BSI doing the custom work.

my F20 miata swap was about 9-10K and I did almost all the work myself.. but I also spent a lot of money to make it Cali smog legal, so I prob could have saved a few thousand if I didn't care about that.
Keep me updated on the swap! Id love to see what BSI's going to do for you!
BTW: Im VtecMX5 on miata.net incase you were curious

Great to see you on here, I'll keep the thread updated with the progress.
I picked up the motor, transmission, and driveshaft on Friday 9/15, it is from a 2002 with 26k miles. It has an ACT HD PP and Toda flywheel already installed to boot! We packed it into the minivan the same night and it was off to BSI racing on Saturday.
The heart:
All packed up and ready to go:
Arrival at BSI (only real shops have their own forklift...)
