Day 21

TIRES!! Thanks to wuchan for mounting my Hankook Z214 C51 compound 225/45/15 rubber.

Pretty eh?

Work starts with Jose getting the paint off the windshield...

Removing the e-brake for good:

Then, I remove the rear brake heat shields:

Mounting the brake and clutch master cylinders...

And the rest of the steering column assembly & pedals:

Replacing the driver's rear axle nut:

Do we look tired?

Day 22

Dead pedal goes in (notice the cage doesn't get in the way of it).

Painting the front lip:

Putting on the rear trim piece that the hard top rests on:

A little bit of radiator $$$$$$. We put this in only to see if we had to buy any additional hardware but it will come out to put the engine in:

Went in without a hitch!

Pulling the motor out from hibernation:

That's a hell of a wake up call....

Isn't she bootyful?

I decide to check the oil jet bolts to make sure that they're 4 hole before the oil pan goes on:

Indeed they are!

TC Design baffled oil pan:

Some goop:

Crotch shot....
