Work starts with Jose getting the paint off the windshield...
Removing the e-brake for good:
Then, I remove the rear brake heat shields:
Mounting the brake and clutch master cylinders...
And the rest of the steering column assembly & pedals:
Replacing the driver's rear axle nut:
Do we look tired?

Dead pedal goes in (notice the cage doesn't get in the way of it).
Painting the front lip:
Putting on the rear trim piece that the hard top rests on:
A little bit of radiator $$$$$$. We put this in only to see if we had to buy any additional hardware but it will come out to put the engine in:
Went in without a hitch!
Pulling the motor out from hibernation:
That's a hell of a wake up call....

I decide to check the oil jet bolts to make sure that they're 4 hole before the oil pan goes on:
Indeed they are!
TC Design baffled oil pan:
Some goop:
