madcanix,

Unless the K-frame is substantially different in design the dry sump will not save you from having to modify the K-frame. If you look closely at some of the pics that have been posted you will notice that on the passenger side the block is located below the bottom of the K-frame. This is due to the fc 20 block not having parallel surfaces when comparing the top and bottom of the block.

I am in the process of the same conversion and looked into a drysump set up but realized that all it will accomplish is a light bank account with mods still needing to be made to the K-frame.

I also looked into a 3 rotor mazda engine but would like to have reasonable gas millage when done, so Im sticking to the FC 20. Good luck with your project!!

Hey Alex I spent the last 2.5hrs reading from page 1 to page 33 and all I gotta say is I am amazed like everyone else thats been tuning in on this. Hopefully you'll post some on board video runs in the near future. I can't wait to see what else do you have for this beast. Keep up the good work

I didn't actually spend all that time. I skipped all the posts of people saying "Cool" and stuff like that and went for your posts only. , man. Great project car.

Thanks guys, the car is going to be coming home from the shop this week (the turbo manifold is still not done) and I'm going to start taking it apart to fund the next project. I'm getting into Spec Miata racing so I won't be driving this one much anymore. I've had a couple of people interested in the conversion parts (driveshaft, header, subframe, etc) so I'll start to entertain offers soon.

No, actually. I found someone that makes a turbo manifold that will work with minor mods to the car. The manifold came in Thursday and we're going to start putting her back together soon.
