Looks like someone should have just bought the S2000, and been done with it.

 

I like the looks of it but I don't have a clue why anyone would try to make a Miata look like an S2000. Why didn't he just buy an S2000 and try to make it look like a Miata?

All that's missing from that identity confused car is matching red Type R, Mugen and TRD stickers....

 

Are you sure that's a Miata under there? I was thinking maybe the guy started with a Z8. (I mean, he's obviously nuts and has--or had--lots of money, so anything's possible, really.)

On the bright side, the work looks incredibly good from the pictures. And astonishingly, the car seems to be in the US, not Japan.

 

I think there was a thread on this car already. It's a Miata, and the guy is in Socal.
