Man you guys hardly drive your car.

I have an 01 with 58,900 miles. I racked up 50,000 in just under 3 years and almost 10,000 since I have been back to California which has been 11 months.
you'll note that I have nearly 40k in less than 2 years. I drive my baby.

I haven't done a lot of searching about these clutches, but 60K seems short for a clutch life. Are these clutches that weak??

My '84 Supra went upwards of 150K on the factory clutch and that car was driven HARD.
If you really dont know how to drive a standard car the clutch goes out pretty quick. 60,000 is pretty long for this car having heard of all the clutch problems everyone on this board has had over the past 5 years. That may or may not have been because of people just not really driving the car correctly. I have heard of some going out as quick as 1500 miles and others at 70,000 miles. I agree with you on the Supra because I have seen some of those original clutches last well over 100,000 miles as well. Interesting.
