conservative driving.
You've got to take a picture of your rear tires and post it. I can't believe you have 22,000 miles on one set of rear OEM tires! The must be about bald...

Yeah, where can I get a set of those long-lasting S02s?

Replaced the front at 11k and I expect to replace all 4 at 22k or so.

Moderately agressive driving, nothing really extreme. No clutch drops.

I got 11k on my first set of rears, and 10k on my second. Replaced my frst set of fronts at 18k but they were pretty gone. I drive pretty average, buttake turns hard and had at least one track day per set of rears and two on the fronts. No clutch drops. Driving fast or slow isnt what burns them out so much as how hard you take the turns. I push the turns alot even on the surface streets, so that definitely contributes to the wear. Nonetheless, I do drive conservatively overall.

Changed my rears at 27k and I'm now at 40k and my fronts are still fine. I don't drive my car hard all the time but there are quite a few "spirited drives" on those tires.

Changed rears to S-03's at 24,782 miles.

Currently have 26,325 miles on the original S-02's on front.

I drive mostly on highways. I am never the fastest, but always the second fastest and I have never gotten a speeding ticket.

Expect to replace the tires every year. ~$650/set from Tire Rack. You can of course change to different tires for longer life after your first set are burnt out.

Maybe if it's a daily driver.

My tires lasted 11,000 miles with the fronts being more worn than the rears, but all four showing wear bars. A large percentage of my driving is on twisty roads.

Those of you getting over 20,000 miles on a set of tires don't deserve to drive an S2000.

You should be driving a car more like a Chrysler Sebring convertible or something.
