Willing to bet you're leaving fuel all over town. Weight shedding FTW!

LOL.

Yes it's probably ok then if you only used 1/4 tank in 50 miles.

The AP1 fuel guage goes down really fast for the first 50-75 miles and then it goes down really slow from 100-200 miles and I'm usually empty around 260 miles. Ap2's may be similar.

No, the A/C won't use up that much gas, not much more gas than having the top down will.

my car goes down 2 bars with 15 miles on the tank but when I calculate the MPG by using miles on a tank VS the amount of gas I put in i always get 18MPG city(mostly what I drive) and I get 24.9MPG highway.
Wait till you have to fill the car all the way up to see what theactual mileage is. Your car might be like mine where 2 bars go away really fast without really using much gas

its weird it feels like I get better mileage which the top up and A/C on then I realized the car is so bloody sluggish with the A/C on I rarely take it over 5k rpm... In an effort to save fuel I've been short shifting and trying to keep the top up... I think all of our cars do roughly the same thing... I fill up and it takes a while for the first bar to go, but when it does the rest go quickly until I get to around a half tank then it slows dramatically until it gets down to about a 1/4 tank then it starts to go again... I definitely wish there was a way to squeeze 5 or so more mpg outta this car.. I drive at least 70 mi per day... The gas is expensive but its more annoying to me to have to stop so often...

'Got 333 miles once enroute to Phoenix, AZ, from Rosamond, CA. 2008 S2000CR, approximately 20,000 original miles. Low fuel light on a few miles from filling station.

My car 05AP2 does the exact same thing...u aren't alone
Only mod is hfc. Ac does horrible things to mileage although I don't notice as much powerloss as my old integra.
I hit vtec often and I have a horrible commute 5 days out of the week. I shift at 4-5k, tire pressure at 33psi all around
Car is healthy, good alignment, I dynoed a healthy number recently, I know I got no leaks, and using 0-30 oil.
