Nothing. . .and I mean nothing compares to an AutoArt model. Here are some comparison pics:

Maisto on the Left and AutoArt on the Right

Maisto models can easily be found for $15 - 25. AutoArt models range from $35 - 55.

Did yours have any existing red inside before you painted it? I need to make it FULL red like the 2002.
Mine was the exact same as this. Takes about 4 coats of red to cover the black.

That's funny... My real S is Silverstone / Black, which Maisto doesn't make.... so I bought a Silverstone/Red and a Red/Black, and swapped out the interiors. I now have my Silverstone/Black and an extra Red/Red from the spare parts.

My Maisto cost $10 from Costco. They only had red though.

I got my 1:24 Scale that i painted from the dealer for $10.
Next up: the 1:18 scale, and the same paint job on the interior. I prefer the detail of the 1:18 to the 1:24.

Ok I couldn't resist - here are some pics of my toys around the house!

We'll start off with the Maisto swaps (I needed a black S2k with red interior) so I did the same as DJ Cube - I swapted interiors with the silverstone model since the black model only comes with black interior and ended up with my color combo......I actually have all the colors - but couldn't find the red one - someone probably stole it from my house already! I also cut a ring off the springs of my black model to give it a more aggressive look! I am actually waiting for the AutoArt Special Edition S2000 with all the OEM parts so I can add to my collection only thing missing now is the hardtop attachment!

as you can see I also have a 1/24 scale custom painted S2k...in front

this is a 1/64 scale replica of my old civic! lol.....

the full-size version of the above!

My other collections! Spawn Figures and Hasbro Wrestlers

Finally the Real Deal........

We should start a post regarding people's toys around the house, nbut i tmight get out of hand........lol

thanks for looking

I wish I had a digital camera. I have an special edition replica made by autoart. The box says its from honda and it has all the Optional Equipment added onto it wing, strakes, chin spolier, titanium shift nob...etc. Its silver with red interior. If I get a camera I will post it
