I just sat in this chair and it is a very snug fit, and I'm a pretty average guy (5' 9", 170 lbs, mostly muscle ). This chair fit me perfectly and really wrapped around me. Now I know why you can take those corners at a faster speed. You just feel solid in this chair.

I find that with the stock seat, my eye level is just about even with the bottom half of the rear view mirror, and I feel that I am sitting too high, although I am 'only' 5'7" (long torso I guess). I appreciate the lower seating position of after market seats, and may even pass the broom stick test with a helmet on, but that remains to be seen.

I have sat in Mingster's car and it feels MUCH better to be sitting lower.

Now, for those who are familiar with both this seat and the Mugen seat, which one is lower?

I am not sure where Mingster set his seat, but the Mugen at the lowest setting seems lower; I have sat in both.

the mugen seat is lower. first of all, me and richard did not set the seat at the lowest level. we did at first, but found the installation was easier at the middle setting. the reason why the mugen s1 seat is lower is because the rails that richard has, has bars that goes across under the seat. the mugen seat rails are on the side of the seat, and have nothing underneath the seat. i can't even slide my hand under the mugen seat at its lowest setting.
