It only takes one or two misinterpreted curbs to scrape a front lip like that. For a used car I would say it's normal.
The front end is much longer than it looks...

MY05 is misaligned the same way and I know it's never been involved in any accidents. I know of 4 other S2000 owners all friends of mine that has/had the exact same issue. two '00's, one '02, one '04 and one '07. All but one was purchased brand new.
