Default Missing gears?

So, I've had the car about a week now . . . and ever now and then I miss a gear. I have done it 3-4 times when I get on the car, and am going through the gears quickly . . . and a couple other times I was just driving around normally . . .

do I suck at driving? or has this happened to other people?

Also, tonight as I was getting on it, when I went to shift into 4th gear, I missed it at first, revs went way up, then it engaged some, back end kicked out and swerved a bit, so I put it in neutral and regained control of the car . . . I'm assuming this happened because there is no traction control?

Let the flaming commence.

that happened because the right rear tire(when looking from the rear) has all the power, get and LSD(limited slip diffrential) should take care of that, and yes you suck at shifting. haha jk well maybe, when i first got my s2k i would always lose to my buddies s2k because he had his longer, you need to give it time you'll get it, i did, now i beat my buddy all the time. good luck

don't slam it in to gear. go slowly and kind of rest it on the gate of the next gear for a fraction of a second and it'll slide in easily every time.

Can you jiggle your shifter when it's in gear? That might be the problem.

You should try practice shifting around when the car is turned off.

S2000s already have a Torsen LSD straight from the factory. It is a RWD car and they tend to break loose on a whim especially pre-traction control S2000s.

Holy crap. The S2000 already has a LSD from the factory. People that own this car should know this kind of basic stuff. Geesh

I found it to be funny lately. If you know you going get flame comments then why start the thread? It's just means you post is useless to begin with. If you knew you were going to get shot walking into someone's house, would you walk into that house? WTF.

Yes, I do think you such at shifting. Get some practice on shifting before you blow up that engine.
