Default Mod bug

I had to let it out somewhere.
I just bought my car last week and I already spent about 4k. (got money from my previous car parts)
Maybe 1k on maintenace items but 3k on cosmetic things.
And I haven't even touched performance parts yet.

This car is taking all my money argh lol

I didn't even spend that much all at once on Evo or GTR.. I can't stop.... somebody stop me...

Should go for boost for $6-7K forget appearances if you're not actually faster!

this. I nickeled and dimed myself with my last car...not going to do it with the S. Had her for 2 years now and she's paid off and still stock. Time to buy a house now though.

That's nothing.. I mean it's still money but..

You'll enjoy the car in stock form and perhaps modded. some probably enjoy it more modded than stock, and others enjoy it more stock than modded.

But anyways, 4k isn't too bad. when I had my old g coupe (the first one, not the second one) I dropped nearly 15k within 4 months. (that was with labor out of a 6k project so if you factor away labor, I'd say it was more about 12-13k)

Have fun, be careful.

Hahaha I have wife
so yeah..she doesn't know I spent that much on S2k if she found out the real number she would kick me out of the house.

And right now she "understands" that I am spending money on S; only because she is waiting to get her 335xi delivered.

I'm the same way. Can't stop doing it. I usually set goals for myself like "I'll save X amount of money in my bank account before I buy another car part." That doesn't usually work though haha.

i spent about $7 grand in the last 2-3 months since i got the car and i didn't even do anything performance wise, not even springs.

Sound system with bluetooth, component speakers, an amp and a sub. (because the stock one sucked)

Alarm, i can control with my iPhone.

Red Interior, because White on red is tits!

and replaced a soft top with an OEM one.

I deemed to keep the S pretty much stock beside suspension/few cosmetic things and that was it but, lately I find my self looking for more things to buy. I pretty much limit myself to one big mod a year to keep my wife from getting suspicious. I even ship parts to my friends or parents place to have them installed there. It's a good thing she rarely take a ride in the S2k. We usually take the grocery getter.

The problem I have is most bolt ons do not produce more power. I figure the car would be a real beast with 350hp.
