I wish! That would give me way more time to read real posts instead of nasty ones.

I never was one for censorship myself, but I believe it would be censorship if you deleted the message because you didn't agree with it. I'm proposing deleting messages that do nothing to further the topic at hand, but are there to merely give the writer a 'raspberry' at another memeber's expense. It is this type of message that won't deter the course of the thread by being deleted.

I believe the moderators here do a great job, and I wouldn't want their position if you payed me. It's a thankless job, and it takes a great deal of patience to perform it. I'm just tired of wading through the useless blowhard fodder to get to the good stuff.

My 5 cents worth (inflation)

I commend cthree! It's his site. We have the privilige of being invited to his house. Let's show him the respect he deserves by following his policies. You wouldn't want someone to come to your house and pee on the rug would you? Lets keep the posts civil, respect each other's opinions and enjoy and great site!

I think stern disapproval from members of this board is the best way to deal with this.

As far as I'm concerned, it is Cthree's board and we're all here as his guests. The moderators are his extensions to make it easier for him.

Since he's the host, I trust him to run the board as he sees fit. I may make suggestions if I have any. I may leave his board if I become dissatisfied.

This is one of the best boards I've participated in and it is because of Cthree's work. I back him completely.

By the way, I've tracked responses to topics I've started on this board vs www.honda-acura.net. In my experience, this board is now three or four times more active. That alone speaks volumes for Cthree's work.

A million thanks to Cthree and his moderators.

Barry

Amen, Barry. Cthree has done an incredible job.

Just for old times sake, after about a month, I tried to log onto the other board last night. After 60 seconds, it was still poking along without fully loading. I gave up, realizing that I wasn't missing a thing and that S2000 online is now where the action is. Fast, well-organized, no crashes, and far more civil.

Just to voice my opinion, I think the mods in general have really cut down on the amount of threads we lock. It's a part of the learning process, and now even before we lock a thread, we give a warning post, and if things don't change, then we take action. Like Cthree said, if there are any problems you may have with what we do, you can feel free to PM or e-mail us. I think we're all open to suggestions.

Don't even reply to a post that you find distasteful. It will go away of its own accord if you just ignore it.
