Siepel, did you have to do anything to your headlights aside from clearing them or changing bulbs? In Germany at least it seems that all Xenon lights require a washing system, which is why you see those ugly spray valves bolted onto the front bumper. Just wondering if they made you install something similar when you took your car over there...

Honda in the Netherlands has so far honored all the recalls (oil jet bolts and spark plugs) and also warrantee work (replacing an annoying whistling throttle body).
What perfect timing for this thread! I am shipping my car to Belgium within the next month and it will be only as short drive to the Netherlands, if Belgian Honda dealers won't cover warrantee issues or do the oil jet bolt recall.

I was told by American Honda that I would have to pay for work myself and then submit a bill to them and then they would decide if they would pay it.

Where in Holland is the dealer that did the work for you?

Right, but I would assume that under current EU law, any car that can be legally registered in one country can also be legally registered in another country, no? Maybe wishful thinking, but that would mean that if I have a NL-spec car, I should also be able to register in F, D, or wherever without having to do any further modification.

Just curious since you never know what the future holds...

That means I would have to convert, but the EU and JDM do not convert to miles per hour from kilometers.

I think he's trying to say that he wants the new instrument cluster on his pre-04 which has the 9k redline. The USDM cluster only has the 8k redline, which is why he needs a EU unit or a JDM unit.

Chadwick has it right.

I'm not gonna run out and do it today, but that would be a nice update with the increased oil temp bars and integrated clock.

I would miss the RPM arc across the top of the cluster like it does now. That looks cool.
