Modifry is Retiring
You made me look again on his site for the windscreen base. I saw what looked like a seat mount extension for phones/anything. That is what I use for almost all my vehicles but mine did not come from Modifry. However, the seat mount although pictured, was not clickable.
I have purchased all of Modifry's stuff and Bob's quality is LEGIT. You will not find a better feeling clip, extension, etc. They all feel solid, not the least bit flimsy, to the point where I don't think I can accidentally break them. After buying one thing from his site, I just splurged and bought everything else.
I got the DCI and just wish I could mute with mine. I have to use the volume rocker. Other than that, it's amazing and I wish I had done it years ago. It made the driving experience so much more pleasant.
I went ahead and bought the windscreen adapter the other day as well. I had attached a clip via 3m base but figured I’d regret not getting the mount so went ahead and did it. I have pretty much everything else he offers
I have an Alpine and he warned me that it’s not a full mute but instantly lowers the volume substantially so you can’t hear it well. Mine wouldn’t work and then I looked at the jumpers and the one controlling the mute I moved to the opposite direction and now mute works. Might be something with how your dip switch is configured
I hope someone can keep this going. If no single person steps up I wonder if we could colllectively come up with a way to keep this going? His business has been an invaluable asset to the S2000 community and it would be a significant loss if we weren't able to keep it going.
