I just installed Modifry's phone holder, the one that bolts beside the radio.
Very nice. Solid as a rock. Doesn't get in the way of anything. Should have done this a long time ago.

I have been here off and on since 2001 and don’t remember him in the heavily modified crowd.

Yeah, that's not what he did. His stuff is for improving the daily experience of driving the car. Mostly electronics stuff and cockpit brackets.

Yeah, my car is decked out in Modifry stuff just for quality of life stuff (cup holders, phone mounts, etc.).

Plus the stereo adapters; it's so nice to have the left hand controls work with with my Sony head end.

For those that have the dash bracket for phones, which phone mount did you attach to it? I don't love the one that Modifry sells, but I'm having a hard time finding other options. I don't have a magsafe phone either

The dash bracket is compatible with AMPS mounts. Get a ball adapter that is AMPS compatible and find a phone holder that fits the ball adapter and your phone..

I bought a low profile one someone was selling on FB. 3d printed. Then paired that with holder below from Amazon. Also found a usb ribbon cable on Amazon, which I routed behind modifry bracket so wires hidden. Plugs into a usb I wired behind dash, powered from ign aux connection on fuse panel.

phone holder and charger
