Yeah. I've got mine but they're still in the package. I'm waiting for cooler weather to do the install. But thanks for the tips - I'll certainly watch out for anal bumps.
I also see what you did there.

Just a random thought. If I cut the OEM straps and replace them with these after market straps and then later need to have the top replaced under the TSB recall, does this give Honda a claim that I damaged something and it is no longer covered?

Took me 15 minutes total. The trick is to wrap it before placing the part into the rivet holes.

I actually flipped one and had to redo it.

Maybe I should order the straps. I have been pushing the bar back for five or six years now.

I've had my car for 1 year, I've had the straps sitting on my desk for 10 months. Maybe I should put them on soon.... lol

i don't beleive that Honda people even would notice different straps.
anyway - straps are located far away from typical rip/torn places.

Just put mine on last night. Took about 30 min or so. Mainly because after they were on I was putzing with it and the rear one came loose so I had to re-do it. Arrg. though I was thinking maybe I need to glue them into the rivets. Anyways w00t my top comes back down now the correct way. I had no idea it was broken until someone pointed it out!
