Modifying the s2000...
I would just get a refund for the warranty and mod your car. If you plan on keeping it, just keep it stock. The only way you "might" pass it off is if you put your stock springs/shocks back on.
I have an 07 and I did the same thing. I was going to keep it stock for the most part, but the mod bug bit me a weee bit early, and now I don't even care about the warranty now

not true, ask your dealer, my dealer flat out told me that it would void certain parts. Big power increasing mods can cause trouble but basices like intake and exhaust, and springs, he flat out told me he'd warrenty and he's been a good friend for a long time, not to mention I used to work under him as a mechanic for mitsu.

Dealer most often will NOT honor warranty issues on modded cars. The ones that due should be considered the "exception" and not the norm.
Although there are legal routes you can take, bottom line is that it's a battle that you will most often lose. To fight it could cost you more money that what you were looking to get from a warranty claim.
Wheels, tint and minor modifications are fine, similar to a leased car. Once you change the suspension, intake exhaust, headers etc..... you are rolling the dice.
I do all my own work, so I just put all the stockers back on if there is a claim I need.
In your case....you got juiced IMO paying that extra money for the extended warranty. Now you've tied your own hands. I'd get a refund for the warranty. Either way, each has it's own risk/reward. Only you know the extent of what you want to do.

Well, the guy told me specifically that it's going to void a certain portion of the warranty if I mod that category..
I asked him about changing suspension and he told me it'd void warranty there.. Nothing horrible, but things like the drivetrain and electricals, I wouldn't be touching.
Also, I actually pay it monthly.. like $10 or so?
I had to deal with them to get my APR to 2.9% in order to get the monthly I wanted.
I might sound cocky, but I'm pretty tech/"wrench" savvy and most of the stuff I wouldn't mind doing on my own, but Hondas are definitely new to me, coming from a Nissan retired track car..

You're very lucky to get a 2.9% on a used S2k. We don't have that here in California, even if it's certified.

Anyways..
If I replace the parts back with OEM, they couldn't know, no?
I do my own work on cars, so I'll be keeping records of everything.
Probably the one or two give-aways would be the bolts becoming stripped of their finish and the bolt heads getting marred from wrenching.
I'm going to attend an event on the 21st and would love to install my coilovers before then
