Default Modifying S2000s

This is simply my opinion but I don't understand modifying your S. Now don't get me wrong I have definately been there, done that, and I completly understand the impulse. But, the S is such a gorgeous car. Everytime i see one with a body kit i want to smack the guy driving it. It completely ruins the elegance of the car. Rims...biggest waste of money...and yes i have rims for my other cars but it seems like such a sophmoric thing to do. Something the WHOOP WHOOP guy would do. I mean cmon..spending a couple fo Gs for wheels lot of money for something like that. As for such things as CAI, exhaust, etc etc ...they give you such minor improvements in hp i dont see how tjhey are worth it. So you may be thinking then how about supercharging, turbos, etc...well you know what i think? If you really want to go fast, go get yourself a motorcycle. 10500 RPM redline....sub 4 sec 0-60s.....thats what i would call fast.

Damn I'm only 22 but reading what i wrote above is making me feel like a fat old bald man that hasnt gotten laid by his wife in 20 years and is driving around a 1987 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale (yea that was my car in hs

So thats just my opinion..take it for what it is

How many times is this topic going to be addressed??? It is a complete waste of time! Your not gunna change anybodys mind about modding their S, so why even take the time to start this topic (again), especially coming from somebody with a grand total of 10 posts on s2ki.

I agree YOU shouldnt modify your S2000, that way mine will be more unique. if someone put a stock S2000 next to mine and asked me which one I would want........I would pick mine. everyone does what theythink looks good, I like mine to look like no other, thats just the way I do things. my S2000 is like none other I have seen and my Jeep is jacked up and everyone in my town knows my cars, but I like it that way

Since when does the number of posts have to do with someone having an intelligent opinion? I agree with GEdrew. I see so few Ss around that it looks different than anything out there. Now if you live in LA, I could see you midding it up the ying yang. But here in Ohio, it stands by itself. I have only seen one S that had the wheels, body and probably the engine modded and I thought it was a shame to rice it that way. Just my opinion.
