In the following thread im going to ask several questions pertaining to modifying/customizing the s2000 Vortech Supercharger Kit, so if anyone who has one, and/or has illicit knowledge of the kit, please read and reply.

1) Aftermarket BOV?

*How difficult exactly is it to upgrade your bypass valve that came with the Vortech kit? For example, you want to hook up an HKS Type S BOV to recieve in what I like to think that sexy "pshhhtttt". Seeing that the kit, from what I'm told, will harvest an aftermarket BOV as long as you could provide some sort of adapter plate, what steps would you need to take? I imagine some sort of thread adapter with an airway... Has anyone done this, and/or have any knowledge on the subject? Could a machine shop do it or does some online company offer it already?

2) Boost Controll?

*Now I am aware that the kit uses your stock injectors, and utilizes a fuel regulator to increase flow. My question is, can you adjust it to increase your boost? Of course if not this would be a big disadvantage of comparing a centrifugal supercharger to a turbo as compared to the ability to install a digital (or mechanical) boost controller. Well that is unless you rigged up a wastegate I guess, which in mine and Chris from Bullet Proof Automotive's discussion of the idea was deemed "ridiculous." (Speaking of which thanks for all your input, youre a cool guy ) I also considered the route of installing larger injectors, but since the kit comes standard with a pre-calibrated fuel management system, would that mean with bigger injectors you would need to re-calibrate your system? Does Vortech sell the tools needed to do so, along with what supplies would you need (essentially I'm looking for ways to increase boost from the charger since it could handle more where as the Comptech kit, from what I'm told, can not.)

3) ESM?

*Does the kit need some sort of ESM to help ensure that the from wont see a boost
signal from the MAP Sensor? Or does it not experience this effect?

Anyone who can help me with these questions with first hand knowledge I would much appreciate it, I have tried finding as many online sources for FAQ on the Vortech kit but I am only able to reach the computer every once and awhile so I am hoping this group at s2ki will be able to quickly and profficiently help me out.

Thanks,
Blake
