Mods that wont harm the car
i got my s in my garage.. and i love it everyday more and more.. which is why i dont want to ever add anything that will make it faster or prettier and harm it in the long run.. my question is what kind of mods can i add to the car that will not effect the car in anyway other than positive.
Spoon or IDi CF air duct (you can take that out and put the front air dam cover thing on in less than 5 minutes, returning the car to essentially stock)
IDi one piece aeroscreen
Rick's stuff is a must
Muz knob

As long as the mod doesn't require drilling, cutting, or adhesives, it shouldn't cause any long term harm. I had a pretty massive stereo install as well as shocks, swaybar, and exhaust system, and it all came out in one weekend, returning the car to bone stock. New speaker baskets ($8 each) was all that was needed. When you do a mod just be sure to hold on to the stock part.
Things like spoilers that require drilling, window tint that fades and peels, those are the types of mods I'd stay away from.
Enjoy!

I've heard of people taking off part of the airbox or something like that. Im sure it doesnt give a huge hp gain -maybe 2 or 3 hp since the engine can breathe easier. It does make the engine louder, though. What exactly is it that they do? Do they just remove the top of the airbox by unclamping it?
