Monthly/annual cost of running your S2000?
Paid in Cash
Had the car for 3 months.
Cost= $35 for oil change Mobile 1 with OEM Filter
$4 Turtle Wax interior cleaner
$700 for a year full maximum coverage insurance AAA
So I guess I spent about $739 total since I bought the car. Nothing was done to the car, probably go buy an AP2 tailight and change the rear diff fluid. Thats about it. Its a cheap car to run.

I fell for it. I bought ANOTHER s2000 1.5 years after trading my first one in. The reason I traded it in is because the maintenance costs were adding up.
Let's say you need a clutch, tires, and brakes at around the same time;
that's: 600-900 for tires, 1000-1600 for clutch, and 150-350 for brakes.
You're looking at 1750-2800 at one time. On top of fuel, insurance, oil changes, and for most people, the loan payment for the car itself, that's a lot of money.
I was set to keep the car, but I got a job that gave me a 75 mile commute (1 way). I ended up getting a Civic, and this thing is FAR easier to maintain.
Sorry for rambling.

Couple days shy of 20.
Run down of costs as to from work seasonal DD, occasional winter (just started a few weeks back)
20-30 a week depending on gas prices.
I change oil every month regardless of mileage, $40 and do it myself.
170 a month insurance, spotless record, high deductable though.
563 monthly car paymnt. trade in value of previous car 2100.
High interest due to early credit history, no co-sign.
22,XXX price tag as well.
Est yearly cost to own and operate is around 10500 for me.
Note, scheduled maint. not included in overall price.

They sure are. The s2000 seems to wear and tear through them faster than the other cars I've owned.
What dealers charge for brake jobs is a crime. It takes maybe 10 minutes a wheel to change pads and rotors, assuming you are just taking it easy and BSing with friends in the mean time.
Tires? Easy, buy them online, pay a tire shop $14 each to mount them on the rim, and do the rest yourself, big savings there.

Everything you posted is hella easy to do yourself, even the clutch if you have the time and the willingness.

just noticed you're from NY too so it's probably more just cuz of where you live. I live in a small town in OR and i use honda oil and filter. everything runs me about 15 bucks. (I work at a honda dealership too so i get stuff a bit cheaper)
