Default Mooncraft Hardtop - how does it work?

I am just wondering on the install process on the mugen HT, and at that its removal for when you feel like driving a convertable again.

EDIT: Meant to ask about Mooncraft Hardtop - not Mugen.

Its awkward to hold so removal is a two person job. just un-due the catchers and the mounting brackets on the sides and lift off.

so you are telling me it isnt fastened to the trunk?

what about if you want to open the trunk (i assume that the ht will split at the line above the window and allow to do so).

It mounts and installs just like the OEM HT does. The trunk works as it was designed

OK, that one the trunk still works. You just have to open the back 1/2 first. We have one in the shop. It also is a bolt on installation not like Mugen or OEM.

It can be removed. It is just not as easy as the Mugen or OEM HT to remove. You have to unbolt a few bolts to get it off. It fully supports the softtop when installed.
