Default More low-torque power?

What is the best way to tune a 2002 stock S2k in order to get more hp at lower rpms? I'd like to be able to accelerate more quickly, without going through the low-power low-revs. Is this a topic best left in the "Under the hood" forum?

Check out Ricks2k.com and get a gear set. 4.55 or 4.77 would give you the off the line punch.

C'mon 10b, be nice to the new guy.

My first suggestion was going to be: "Buy an F-body," but I held back and offered a real suggestion.

I hate it when I am a newbie on a site and people give me sh*t for it.

Well, thanks for not ripping me up too much

I'm newbie to the site, as well as car upgrades. I've only ever driven bone stock cars, and with the new S, I want to get a little down n' dirty. (Will put the VIN in soon so my profile will reflect my recent ownership)

For RPM ommmmpppffffff down low, you have two options:

1. turbo

2. Gears

I suggest gears!

There is a third option but its not for the faint at heart!

10b, I thought you caught the wink. I know it's been asked 100 times. Don't think I was coming down on you. I asked a simple question on a different car site and got the old: SEARCH response. It ticked me off. When someone has been on the site for a long time and asks a FAQ then I will usually point them to the search feature.

I didn't mean to put you on the defensive, sorry anout that.
