If you ask me, the HKS is beautiful sounding (very melodious) and looks beautiful too, but some don't like the buzziness at some rpms. The Spoon exhaust is single-outlet but is, in my opinion, the best sounding and very loud. It's very aggressive and rich in quality. Tanabe Racing Medallion exhaust is super loud but not as racy sounding as the Spoon exhaust. If you like huge exhaust tips, Tanabe is for you. I haven't heard Amuse, Comptech, J's Racing, or Supersprint. J's Racing I think is single-outlet too. I haven't heard much on Comptech exhaust so I assume it isn't something to die for. Supersprint looks really good as it has oval tips that fit the car's body molding perfectly. J's Racing is supposed to be pretty loud. Neuspeed, the one I have, is a great in-between exhaust - nice looking, cost-effective, sounds nice, louder than Mugen, deep & throaty, but not as loud as Spoon. Hope these clues help!

Well, Mugen and SuperSpirint is not the loud exhasut. SS gives the oval tip, which looks awesom, but 37 lb of weight, a little to heavy to me, Mugen, a little be deeper than SS, but also a very quite exhaust, but not after Spoon header..!! hey, but it sound even more sweet after the header!! also, IMO, I like Mugen, but SS is definitely one of best looking exhaust for S2K.

I just don't see the point of buying a exhaust just for sound? Even they sound good, why pay that much for no hp gain? I have the Spoon exhaust and LOVE IT. It looks good, sounds awesome, and really makes a difference in power. If you are looking for the loudest exhaust, then the Amuse is the way to go, but it is very expensive also. If I were you, I would go with either the J's Racing or the Spoon. Both are in the $900.00 but the Spoon comes with a Silencer! Contact Mingster at Import Develpment for the info.

It is a fact that NO dual exhaust has any performance gain past 1-2 hp!

I think Comptech's cat-back you gain 3hp. That is what it says on there webpage.

I heard the J's Racing exhaust and Amuse exhaust (side by side) last night. It's hard to tell the difference. They are both pretty loud, but not in a bad way. Not the annoying raspy sounding exhaust.
