The car is fine. Some of the drivers are another matter. Some people just don't understand the limitations of a well balanced, RWD sports car. If you understand the idea of compensating for less than ideal conditions you should be fine.

Never before have I driven a car with better handling, dry or wet. I must admit though that reading all the reports of "no warning into a spin" gotten me little nervous for a while. But the fact is that my experience (so far) tells me that the "spinning out guys" are driving a different car than me (definitely driving it differently). My S2k is all stock and the most predictable creature in the world, it doesn't do anything I'm not expecting. Sure it has a tendency to step out the back end when pushed hard through corners but you feel it coming far enough in advance, to miss it you got to have the reflexes of a snail or just not being able to handle a car that oversteer.

The average car is set for understeer of the simple reason that it is safer for the average driver. If you don't know your limits and don't adapt your driving style to the conditions your driving in you should probably choose another car. Nail the brakes with your S mid corner and the back end comes around. Nail the gas and ditto. Hop off the gas and, you guessed it, oversteer. Even in slow corners you can feel the nose tuck in when backing out of the throttle. Is all this dangerous? It all depends on your driving experience and skill.
