Unless you plan on getting slicks, I wouldn't bother with the oil pan. If you monitor your oil level, you will never starve the pickup on Falkens, or any other street tire for that matter. I don't think I have heard of people starving on R Compounds either... it is just slicks.
Spend your money on a thermostatically controlled oil cooler!!! You will also increase your oil capacity as well.

FYI, the 4th Gen (and maybe earlier) Prelude's had an F22 engine code for the SOHC 2.2L found in the base (S) model.
That doesn't make it even nearly related. It is a totally different engine. The above engines are very close in design to the H series.
Even though the F20/22B and F20/22C share an "F" in their name, they are totally different.
The F20C is basically an all-new engine, and was the first in the family of Honda's next generation engines (in 2000 at least). The K series was built with many of the features of the F20C (I don't mean the high performance stuff, but the basic engine design such as layout of components and key dimensions). The K series did have one improvement in having i-VTEC, though.

Ok...would you say the J's Racing oil pan has a better (and effective) design?

Since the J's pan is baffled I would say that it's more effective.
baffled(prevent lack of juice when corning hard) and extra juice capacity
anyone make sure they have an application for the S yet?
f series came with the prelude and accord four cylinder.
f22 comes with vtec or non-vtec, f23 vtec and non vtec from the first gen 2.3 cl and 98-02 accord four banger.
H and F shares alot of part, some one make a hybrid motor called "G", it's a F block with H head.
i hope they make a steel pan, if you hit anything with the steel pan, you will get a dent but if you hit the aluminium pan, they will crack and leak.
