Default Most exciting car!

Today is the first day I drove my friend's s2k to the limit, and it was, for a lack of better words, amazing. I absolutely love this car, the handling is superb, acceleration brutal and hair-raising, and the overall feel of the car animalistic and visceral. VTEC comes up so fast, and so do the three digits on the tach. Drifted while taking some hard turns, and it was just like in the movies and video games. Drool*

Now I know why you guys call the s2k a "scalpel". It cuts, slices and dices the tarmac and goes exactly where you want it to go. You feel one with the car, and it just keeps begging to be revved again and again. Its not even a question, this is going to be my next car.

Btw, we test drove an rx-8 and subaru STi. The mazda was, imo, pure shit, while the STi provided fantastic acceleration, in addition to the melodious bov. However, it would be an insult of the highest order to compare these two machines to the s2k in terms of driving nirvana and enjoyment.

S2K fighting!

Not a first drive, I've driven both ap1 and ap2's, but never to their full potential. Now I know, and I can never go back to 3k shifts

Btw, if the ap2 is any less visceral than ap1, and I would assume it to be so with its reduced redline limit, I would gladly sacrifice a few units of torque and amenities for the pure driving experience the ap1 offers.

Am I just way to tired, or are a bunch of AP1 owners saying the AP2 is greater than an AP1? LoL
