Default MotorTrend#'s for the S2000, wow!

Looking in the Road Test Reviews in the back of the magazine, the S200 pulled these numbers:

0-60mph: 5.2
1/4 // mph: 13.8@100.5
Braking 60-0ft: 113
Slalom MPH: 70.1

These are some awesome numbers. I always thought Motortrend drivers were lame at test driving these cars, but apparently not. Whatya guys think of these numbers?

The slalom is awesome, 70.1!!! It says the ZO6 does 70.3

There has been reports by a couple of owners on this board that 13.6 was achieved with no more that the passenger seat removed. Don't know how reliable they were.

I have an old Road and Track that lists the 0-60 for the S2000 and the NSX at 4.9 sec. The cars were tested by the same driver on the same day.

That's one of C/D's favorite things to say about MT. However, I think C/D's 0-60 time of 5.8 seconds is a bit on the slow side.
I think thats about right personally.

This is really funny.

Anyone who has read these magazines for years will know that their times are very seldomnly accurate. Don't take my word for it though. Do your own test.
