Thanks for pointing this amazing road out. What a perfect drive! I'm doing some serious job hunting for a job in Dubai. I want to live there for a year or two. This is even more reason to go to the UAE. Now i'll have to buy another S as soon as I get there and take a road trip to this mountain.

Did you have any pics taken of your S on this road?

Where do you live??? Everything is flat here in the Mid-Atlantic states.
Don't know where in the Mid-Atlantic you live, but there are some fairly good roads in WV. If you're in the DC area, it's a couple hour drive to route 42 and route 33, but worth the drive. And the Dragon is actually twistier, with a lot of 2nd gear turns, but it's a much further drive.

At least once a year you should drive down to 129. Hitting route 16 across the WV/VA boarder, or you're wasting your car.

Did you get into 2nd gear at all, or was it all 3rd and 4th? And have you ordered new front pads yet? 4000ft of altitude change is gonna really bite into those pads. I wouldn't be surprised if you got a little brake fade halfway down.

Wow very jealous!! I have dreamt about driving that road quite a few times. There was a video review of a car while driving on that road, I can't really remember who created it but I think the car was a mini cooper.....
