Did you get into 2nd gear at all, or was it all 3rd and 4th?
I went to the second. There are several very tight and blind corners I took them in the second may be around 45mph. Going downhill into one of those corners I was heel & toeing to the second and I blipped the throttle so hard the rev limiter had to cut in Good times, good times haha....
But after all it is a public road so didn't drive too hard. No noise from tires and activated the vsa only once.

can i stay at ur place for a week and u take me there
Hmmmm. Need to think about that. What would you do for me if I take you there?

Did you have any pics taken of your S on this road?
No too busy driving I took the "zoom zoom" pic the first time I went there
but that was in rented toyota echo. The poor thing didn't have enough juice to climb
up fast but downhill trip was great.

So you're from the UAE... how much did you pay for your license plate?

It looks like a wonderful road. very well maintained. Thing is, here in Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee, we have that beat. Roads like Appalachian trail, the hellbender, dragons tail and lets not talk about the 41 mile no intersection, 3000ft climbing elevation Cherohala skyway.

Beautiful roads all over the world. Some just get more publicity than others :-)

ah, the cherohalla barely has traffic. And as for the dragon? You want a good run? Roll on it at night. The fastest dragon runners come out at night. I'm sure its the same things for the aforementioned road in the UAE. There'd be much more traffic in the daytime as opposed to the night. I've seen youtube clips of that road and I see a good small amount of traffic on it when ran in the daytime. Its just that there are several lanes providing you room to go around.

The TN hwy patrol presense along with a TON of Harleys on 129 is kind of anoying, but there are pleny of other roads without the crazy traffic that 129 has. Route 33 across the VA/WV boarder is a lot of fun, and fairly close to Arlington. Take a ride up this April, you wont regret it.
