Moving on ...
After five years of driving a 2002 S2000, I've moved on to something new ... a 2008 Audi S6.
The S2000 was a blast. On beautiful spring and autumn days, nothing beats driving with the top down. It never mattered where I was driving -- it was always wonderful.
But I never drove it much in the winter, mostly because I never bought winter wheels and tires. And in time it turned out I really needed a slightly larger trunk to my luggage when I travel.
The S6 is an entirely different kind of car from the S2000. The power of course is amazing (435 HP, 398 lb/ft, V10), but even more amazing is its handling. I can take every corner I love faster in the S6 than I could in the S2000 -- and that's on Blizzaks (I broke down for the S6).
So I bid you all a fond farewell. I'm sure I'll miss the S2000 come that first sunny yet crisp spring day.
