I would definitely call it an upgrade, mostly because he moved on to a more expensive and more powerful car, he could have bought a brand new S2000 if he wanted.

I definitely understand how you feel, going from an S2000 to a luxury car. When I first bought my G35 coupe I was somewhere in between lost looking for the "roof" switch, and just enjoying every single thing about the Infiiniti; i.e. cupholders, sunroof, heated seats, glove box, navigation, etc. I miss the S2000 more every day, and I know that I will have one again, but sometimes you need a break from such a small and impractical car. It's nice sometimes to be able to recline your seat and stretch your legs .

Not to mention for you, having a 10-cylinder under the hood must not be too shabby either! Take care

take corners faster in a much heavier and less precise machine... yeah that sounds about right.

Going from an inline 4 to a V10 not an upgrade? Ummmm...yeah...ok.

Congrats on the new ride. The S6 is a beauty.

You can't measure upgrade by saying the motor is bigger. By that logic you could say that buying an ancient V12 jaguar that breaks down every month is an upgrade because the motor is larger.

It's a different type of car, not necessarily an upgrade, but different.

Have fun
