guys guys. unless you are supercharged or turbo charged and pushing 300HP, what kind of exhaust set up you have WILL NOT make any significant difference on performance.

the only reason I'd want aftermarket exhaust for my s2000 would be is only if I want a different exhaust tone. I think the stock dual mufflers are very pretty. and I'm happy with the sound too. I love my factory dual exhaust. haha.

Right now Ive got a Kakimoto N1 Single Tip on my car. Just swapped from a HKS Double Tip.

The difference is like day and night.

The Kakimoto is LOUD LOUD LOUD! So loud that on the freeway if i see a po-po i would shift to nuetral as I pass so i hope not to get pulled over...cause it IS that noticable.
If that sounds like you, single is def the way to go. I actually like the loudness and the throttle response can def be felt.
And I am willing to bet a few ponies from my dyno gains are result of the kakimoto.
Before:
AEM CAI->Stock Header->Stock Cat Convertor->HKS Exhaust 144kw
After:
AEM CAI-> Spoon Header->Straight Pipe->Kakimoto N1
154kw

Having said that, I still have the option of switching back to my hks dual tip...and i can eventually see myself riverting back to the double tip for the long run.

I've been debating also which exhaust to get... I want the duals just for looks and its a little more quieter then a single I heard... but heres a link for some Vids of a Single and Dual... The New SPUGEN TI Exhuast are going like hot cakes, its clean, looks awesome and the sound is amazing in person.

i've heard basicly every exhaust people are talking about here. i will compair these for you. the Spoon is not loud in my opinion to compaired to what i have heard. the invidia i would say would be second out of that group its a little to high pitched whiny to me. then it would be amuse dual very deep under vtec then above sound like a motorcycle. then The J's which i have myself. its loud as hell. i personaly love the aound is makes. the amuse exhaust it pretty much just as loud under vtec then above its just a loud screaming noise.

I also have the J's and I love it. It is extremely loud as stated. I have a test pipe also so that makes it even louder, and a better sound IMO.

Single titanium exhaust will save you 40lbs! I have the JIC and with the silencer in it's not much louder than the stock. I keep the silence out though as I like the sound.
