@Bogeyshooter: So.. I'm assuming having the car shipped on a ship container isn't a good thing??
Containers fall off ships (I know people this has happened to), yahoos are loading you car on the ship and it takes about a month for it to get there.

There are many back roads but not highways. Roads do get very slippery when wet.
It takes time to get parts to the island - with Japan closer then Detroit, getting Honda parts shouldn't be too hard. Getting old model honda parts may be a problem. I once had to bring a toyota Celica alternator back with me from Hawaii - much easier to do pre-9/11

Thanks hafadaze. The car scene almost reminds me of miniature size HIN.

I tried YouTube but couldn't find any video clips of uphill/downhill back roads you mentioned of. I hope there are some places somewhat secluded where I can open her up.

So you guys hold monthly autoX events?

I'd store it.

Value is going up so you won't lose money, it also means that it will cost more to replace it when you want another ( and you will)

There is a drag strip, off road course, large autocross area and a circle track all right near Andersen AFB. If I ever have to move to Guam I will most likely take mine with no questions. The drive around the island isn't too bad, but most of the roads are horrible with pot holes. I would be careful driving it around there. Should be manageable though. Last summer I saw an R35 cruising and there was an NSX at a wheel shop across from the Micronesia Mall for a couple of my trips there.

for fun roads try the path towards Marbo Cave(off Highway 15/Macheche rd), Nimitz Hill down south near Naval Base(Highway 6), and the road towards Leo Palace Resort. These 3 hill passes are fairly secluded during the day, and not a soul after midnight. Theres quite a few shops that specialize and tune Hondas so no need to worry if you need something big done. located around the vilage of Harmon. And do be careful not to drive hard when the roads are wet, the asphalt mixture has coral in it, making it super slippery no matter how good your tires are.

Made it to Guam, Finally!!
The car's been in storage for a year and in need of all the fluid change (engine, trans, and diff). Any recommendation for a shop that knows what they're doing here in Guam?

I have a Comptech dual cutback exhaust came off of my 2003 for grab if anybody wants it. It's been sitting in my storage taking up space, and being heard before being seen is not my scene anymore. PM me if interested. I reside in Guam now, btw.

I guess you took the S2000?

Guam is less than half the size of Oahu (HI) with 10% of the population. No giant cities but pretty densely populated in some areas.

Send us some photos of you and your car and the Guam sites

Yes, I ended up bringing it here,, I was like,, why not, might as well, just have fun with it. I'm 89% always top down here, which I like very much. The lack of used parts sucks tho. I'm in need of an oem exhaust and can't find one here.
