24-26mpg, all city, usually shift at 4 or 5, VTEC once or twice a drive.
Does anyone see anything odd about this claim?

18 if all city, and I have a HEAVY foot. I'll shift around 4 all day, but every time I start the car, I must vtec once. minimum.

22 - 23mpg

work is 3 miles away, with several stop lights on otherwise 45-50mph roads. I do not VTEC too much at all, and do not drive hard.

ON the freeway I get 28 - 30.

Pheww....so I guess I'm getting the normal amount. I pretty much always get 18 mpg and I vtec a lot. But I keep hearing people getting muh more like GPWhiteS2kFTW just said he got about 24-26 mpg all city and I find that very hard to believe.

Want a photo of a gas sale stub? Why would I lie on the interwebs?

I dunno maybe you made a mistake or something? I just find it hard to believe. I've tried babying the car and couldn't get even close to that good-a mileage. The only way I can think is if you do a lot of highway driving or maybe you live somewhere more rural that doesn't have as much traffic lights.
