2001 S with 7200 miles. 16 inch Te 37's ( 11.2 lbs ea) and no spare
K&N air filter with synthetic oil, cruise control used on highway miles.

Mixed highway and city MPG:

Gas pump light came on at 299.5 miles
Last bar went out at 307 miles
Filled up at 317.5 miles with 11.488 gal ( 27.64 mpg )
usually gets > 30 mpg on highway alone.
Working on another improvement that will increase MPG again.
This is well above what is on the sticker.

 

i can tell that you arent driving this car properly!!!
you should never get good mileage- VTEC likes to drink fuel!!!

I've gotten over 32 on the highway with the V-AFC set the way it is. This is taking it pretty easy though

 

I still don't know how you guys get 30 mpg.

 

Maybe they keep it under 6000 rpms all the time?

 

I was getting about 28 on the highway untill I started playing with my Narrow throttle settings on my V-AFC. I take it easy on the highway. I usually gat about 20-21 around town

 

I got 33 once: pure highway driving with a few VTEC sprints, gas station to gas station. I usually get 21-23 in the city.
