MSRP IN Mass!! First test drive questions
Nope on the guitar, been there done that. Then again it might depend on whether you have it in a case, mine is a hardcase and it wouldn't fit. But it fit in the passenger seat. I would change the guitar before changing the car. There are some things you have to get used to but really though I've had the opportunity to drive many different types of cars, porsche, vettes, bmw's, lamorghini (once), and a few others but this one drives with the best, its a sports car and the best value out there.
I'm in Boston and I definitely think the S2000 can be a daily driver year round. I have been driving mine since November (ok, it was in the shop all of December), on the stock S-02 tires. I would reccomend getting snow tires after this weekend. I spinned out driving 15mph and smashed the door of a parked Jetta, no damage to my S2000, muahahahaha. Unlatching the top? Never had a problem even with subzero temperatures. Honda technicians? The only Honda technicians with S2000 experience in MA I've heard of is Donatello at Bernardi's Honda in Natick. My salesman at Herb Chambers didn't even know how to screw on the shift knob. Space? If you don't have a passenger use the passenger side for storage, if you do have a passenger, tell them to hold your guitar and play some tunes. TT? Go to AudiWorld.com and decide. IS300? Very very different, but if you do get it wait for the stick, and find someone who can convert the engine to a twin turbo, hey they do it with SC300's.
