Did you notice any performance gain with them on at all....even if slight? Im assuming they also weigh a lot less than the stock mufflers!

Tron1 and I think we notice a bit more responsiveness since we installed the Magnaflow mufflers, but that could be placebo effect. We surely didn't lose any power. The new mufflers do weigh less than the stock monstrosities, and sound a whole lot better!

We got the Magnaflows at a local muffler shop, called Muffler Tech, which has a good reputation amongst car fanatics in the Sacratomato area

The old clunkers are at least twice as heavy and three times as big as the new Magnaflows

IMHO the Magnaflows are lighter than the OEM mufflers but only by a few lbs. each... in any event, I do agree with Svatne, they seem to provide a bit of a performance boost (seat of the pants) but the real improvement is the sound quality. Now you can hear the exhaust and that was the aural improvement I wanted.
Happy Motoring!

Do you have any info on the hp and torque figures with the maganflow mufflers? You might find that while you might save a few pounds in weight that you might end up loosing too much low end torque or horsepower. Remember that Honda did extensive testing of various types or exhausts before deciding on the exhaust setup they chose. Specific info in this regard can be had in a book "S 2000" by Carney (?) if believe.
