Default Mugen cooling mods

I was thinking baout buying the 3 mugen cooling mods. I'm talking about the
Mugen Radiator Cap, Mugen fan Switch , Mugen Thermostat. I was looking at tech-2 motor sports for these. Would the be the cheapest?

My main question is, that on a basically stock car except for intake and test pipe, these cooling mods wouldnt have any negative effects would they? I just want to make sure of what they do before I buy them...

To those replying that have used these: positives? I don't foresee any negatives to a cooler engine.

I have the Mugen cooling mods and cannot fathom any negatives. Spoon runs a little colder I believe, and it can either take too long to warm up, or dip down into 2 bars (temp guage) again. I am not sure if the oil temp is cooler or not though, but that could be bad.

The only negative is that your wallet is thinner. The only time mods like these do anything is on heavy track usage, and those people have aluminum upgraded radiators, etc etc etc etc.

Waste of money.

Other cooling mods you may want to look into are:
AUT style cooling plate

and block coolant to intake manifold (its a cheap DIY mod)

I still don't understand how those steel balls help lower IAT despite reading the thread.

They prevent hot coolant from flowing around something the air passes through, thus preventing the air from being heated.

Ive actually heard people in cooler places with all the cooling mods, there car never warms up fully (3 bars on the temp gauge for us AP1'ers) so the car will not hit vtec.
