does anyone have the mugen hardtop?comments about it and cost?GO SEE IT ON THE MUGEN-POWER SITE BUT IN JAPAN NOT IN ENG.OK

 

I do not have the hard top, but I think it is well designed, lightweight, and aerodynamic as a hardtop could be. Some pics of a model with the hardtop painted can be seen here .

It is a true carbon fiber constructed piece and even looks great unpainted, imo.

That red car above looks great. That is the best looking s2k with a hardtop I have ever seen BTW, what type of wheels are those?

 

i agree that the red car looks great with the black mugen hardtop. i believe those rims are also from mugen...the MF10's.

hand polished MF-10s the only ones in existence.

 

what i dont like about the Mugen top is how it meets the trunk on the bottom. it just doesnt look as clean as the OEM top. also, the rear window is plastic (or lexan or whatever material....but its not glass) and it doesnt have a defroster.

if those two things were fixed....this top will be absolutely perfect. but for now...i like the OEM top better.
