Default Mugen hardtop installation trouble

Hey guys happy New Years, I recently bought a mugen hardtop off Hmotorsonline a couple weeks ago. Got it on the 21, installed it the next day. Everything lined up fine on till I went to close my driver side door and the window kept hitting the hardtop. I've adjusted it multiple times and still no luck. I wondering if anyone who bought a mugen hardtop had a hard time aligning the hardtop?

I had that issue on my OEM hardtop, I have a Mugen hardtop now but it doesn't happen on the Mugen.

You can adjust the upper limit of the window travel quite easily, so I solved the issue by lowering the upper travel of the window. Figure out how much lower the window needs to go, then take off the door card, and there is a bolt on the window travel adjuster that you loosen. Lower the window and upper window stop, then tighten the bolt. Test the door operation , if all is good zip it back up, if it still hits then re-adjust further. I don't have a picture of it , but the window stop is along the top of the door frame on the inside, almost near the mirror area.

sounds ideal to do that, I'm surprise you had that problem with OEM. Idk if any other owners had the same trouble i had when it came to installation.

Yeah my oem hardtop was rubbing on the glass. You are talking maybe 2mm of adjustment, no much overall. Stuff happens, whenever you add a top onto a convertible body you have to expect some movement and adjustments being needed.
