seibon has 2 different version of the mugen style hoods. they have a vesion with a vent cover and one without. I have the one without it and its fine to run in the rain without it. the drawback though is that your bolts are more prone to rusting if you drive alot when its raining.

When you say a vent cover does that mean the cover can be removed at anytime?

Does the seibon mg version have a bulge in the left front just like the Mugen hood?

Why would you answer if you don't know?

Yes it has the bulge and it's on the RIGHT side facing forward or LEFT side facing the hood.

The bulge is not gutted so there is no additional clearance for the intake.

Why not go their sight and see for yourself.

How many threads before people realize that vented hoods are ok with rain and water? Can't a mod just make a sticky on the top of EVERY subforum saying "Vented Hoods are water-safe." Christ I don't get it.

I have J's V type hood and its fine in the rain alittle water does get in the engine bay if the car sits still. Most water evaporates after you drive for a couple of mins
